Academic programs at Allahu Akbar International School — Quran, Arabic, Western education

At Allahu Akbar International School, we offer a comprehensive academic program that integrates Quran memorisation (Tahfeedh), Arabic language, Islamic Studies, and Western education following the Nigerian national curriculum. Our goal is to lay a solid foundation in both Western and Islamic education.

Quran Memorisation (Tahfeedh): A core pillar of our curriculum. Students memorise the Quran with proper Tajweed under qualified instructors. Termly Quran competitions encourage excellence, and we are proud of our 2nd place achievement at the AMIS National Quran competition (Lagos, 2008).

Arabic Language: Students develop reading, writing, and speaking skills in Arabic to enhance their understanding of the Quran and Islamic texts.

Western Education: We follow the Nigerian national curriculum from Early Years through Senior Secondary School, preparing students for the National Common Entrance and WASSCE examinations.

Facilities: Our school is equipped with a Computer Laboratory, Home Economics laboratory, and a well-stocked Library to support modern learning.

Weekly quiz and debate sessions sharpen critical thinking, and scholarship awards are available for the best overall pupils each term.
