About Allahu Akbar International School

Allahu Akbar International School — Founded 1998 in Ogun State, Nigeria. Quran memorization and Western education since 4th May 1998.

Allahu Akbar International School commenced on 4th May 1998 (10th Muharram 1419 A.H.) in Ogun State, Nigeria. It is a school of distinction established to weave and disseminate knowledge in accordance with the command of Allah (S.W.T) and Sunnah of Rasulullah (SAW), and in cognisance with the stipulated guidelines of the Ministry of Education.

The school's name emanated from the name of Allah, the Greatest name in the sight of Allah and His creation. Our uniform is white over green — the Islamic colour and the universe colour: white heaven and green forest. The school motto is "Al Quran Hudan lines" (Q2:185) — Quran is guidance for mankind.

The first two pupils admitted were Adam Sanusi and Hawau Sanusi, symbolising the first and second human beings created on earth — a proof of Allah's approval and complete mercy on the school.

The school received Ogun State Ministry of Education approval in June 2001 and gained full recognition in 2003 when pupils appeared for the National Common Entrance examinations.
