Proprietor's Message
Welcome to the 8th Graduation Ceremony of Allahu Akbar International School. It gives me great joy to address you as we celebrate a decade of existence — a journey that began on 4th May 1998 (10th Muharram 1419 A.H.) in Ogun State, Nigeria.
The name Allahu Akbar emanated from the name of Allah, the Greatest name in the sight of Allah and His creation. Our uniform is white over green — the Islamic colour and the universe colour: white heaven and green forest. Our motto is "Al Quran Hudan lines" (Q2:185), affirming that the Quran is guidance for mankind.
The first two pupils admitted were Adam Sanusi and Hawau Sanusi, symbolising the first and second human beings on earth — a proof of Allah's approval and complete mercy on the school. The school received Ogun State Ministry of Education approval in June 2001 and gained full recognition in 2003 when our pupils appeared for the National Common Entrance examinations.
We are proud of our achievements: 3rd position in the NAPPS quiz competition (Sagamu, June 2007) and 2nd position in the AMIS National Quran competition (Lagos, 2008). Our orphan welfare programme offers a 50% discount to orphans throughout their studies as a way of assisting the child.
Our mission remains unchanged — to weave and disseminate knowledge in accordance with the command of Allah (S.W.T) and Sunnah of Rasulullah (SAW), laying a solid foundation in both Western and Islamic education.
I invite you to explore our school and discover the AAIC difference.
